This set of medieval leg armor is sturdily constructed and quite well articulated with rivet construction and well-formed plates which glide past one another. Each leg armor consists of a cuisse with integrated poleyns and a hinged side plate to give additional protection to the side of the leg. The steel plates are 18 gauge in thickness with a polished steel exterior and a blackened interior.
